The short version: there are no ads on your page and we never sell your data. Visitors to Linkse pages are not tracked with cookies.

1. Who is responsible

the operator of Linkse is the data fiduciary for Linkse. Contact us about privacy at info@linkse.in.

2. What we collect

Account: your email address and a hashed (scrambled) version of your password. We never store your password itself.
Your page: your name, username, photo, bio, links, theme and page options.
Consent records: when you agreed to the Terms and this notice, and that you confirmed you're 18+ or have a guardian's permission.
Page stats: daily totals of views on your page and clicks on each link. These are counts only — no visitor profiles.
A session cookie for signed-in creators, so you stay signed in. Public pages set no cookies.
Hashed IP addresses that change every day, used for rate limits and abuse prevention, and kept with session, consent and report records for security. Raw IP addresses are never stored.
Reports: if you report a page, the reason, details and the email you give us.

If you start building a page at /start before signing up, that draft stays in your own browser until you publish. We don't receive it until then.

3. Why we use it

To run your account and show your page, keep Linkse safe (checking links, stopping spam and abuse, handling reports), send you account and security emails, show you your page stats, and meet legal duties. If you allow it, we also send occasional tips and reminders.

4. Our legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you create an account, and for the legitimate uses the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows (such as meeting legal obligations).

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who process it for us:

Cloudflare — hosting, database, file storage and bot checks.
Brevo — sending our emails.
Google Web Risk — receives the web addresses (URLs) creators add, to check them for malware and phishing.

We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads on your page. We may disclose data when the law requires it, for example to comply with a valid order.

6. How long we keep it

Account and page data: for as long as your account exists.
When you delete your account: your page goes offline at once and everything is permanently deleted after 7 days.
Page stats: 400 days.
Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity.

7. Your rights

Access and download: Settings → Download my data gives you a copy of your account, page and stats.
Correction: edit your page and email in the app at any time.
Erasure: delete your account in Settings.
Withdraw consent: delete your account, or email info@linkse.in. Turning off “tips and reminders” in Settings stops those emails straight away.
Grievances: contact our Grievance Officer (see the Grievance page).
Nomination: you can nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to; email info@linkse.in.
Complaint: you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

Linkse is for people who are 18 or older, or who have their parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child is using Linkse without permission, email info@linkse.in and we'll act on it.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hash passwords, limit staff access and check links for malware. No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
